Growth Dateline

  • 2008 - Beginning
    Outdoor Living Brands was formed as the initial platform company for a family of franchise brands; Archadeck Outdoor Living and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives were acquired.
  • 2009 - Building Blocks
    Acquired Mosquito Squad and began building a franchisor platform focused on outdoor residential and commercial services.
  • 2010 - Relocation & Planning
    Relocated Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and Mosquito Squad to Richmond, VA, to integrate the three businesses into one multi-branded franchisor platform and establish the groundwork for the company’s long-term growth objectives.
  • 2011 - Diversification
    Launched Outdoor Living Brands Supply Corporation to help aggregate and streamline purchases for the franchise systems, leverage system scale in pricing to drive down cost of materials for franchisees to favorably impact unit profitability while controlling the consistency and quality of products sold under our brand names.
  • 2011 - Greenfield Development
    Started planning and testing Conserva Irrigation as a potential new franchise concept.
  • 2016 - Milestone
    Achieved $112 million in system-wide sales, a more than 2x increase in five years.
  • March 2017 - Development & Training Center
    Acquired the Archadeck, and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives franchises in Charlotte (plus started a Conserva Irrigation franchise location) to create the Outdoor Living Brands Development & Training Center as an incubator and innovation hub as well as a future training center.
  • June 2017 - New Franchise Offering
    Launched Conserva Irrigation as a new, innovative franchise offering.
  • 2018 - Infrastructure Investment
    Constructed a centralized franchise recruiting team with dedicated brand sales directors.
  • 2018 - Closed Key Corporate Transactions
    Closed three important transactions including (1) Divested Mosquito Squad after driving the business to 250+ locations producing well over $50 million of retail sales; (2) Management buyout of the company’s one outside investor to consolidate ownership of the business among the senior leadership team; and (3) Acquired a minority interest in Conserva Irrigation to establish 100% ownership of the concept by Outdoor Living Brands.
